Barnhill Contracting Company was started in 1949 by the late Robert E. Barnhill, Sr. and has grown into one of the most successful construction fims in the Southeast. While our company has grown, our core principles have remained the same. In 2012, Bob Barnhill commissioned "Robert E. Barnhill, Sr. A Retrospective" which details our founder's history and the legacy of Barnhill Contracting Company. The film is a fantastic depiction of the early years that shaped his drive for success and we invite you to watch the film and see the principles that founded our company and continue to shape our future.

Continuous learning is integral to gaining this competitive edge.
  • To attract and retain the most talented professionals – it is our responsibility to ensure that your professional development continues after you join the Barnhill team.
  • To strengthen a culture of collaboration – through training programs and cooperative learning opportunities employees are able to learn from one another and mentor other team members.
  • To better serve our clients – when our team members are consistently challenging themselves and developing innovative approaches to problem solving, it will only help our clients and build long, profitable relationships.
